Abbey Surgery, Tavistock
The Friends of Abbey Surgery
The Friends of Abbey Surgery are an active surgery support group.
The group represents our patients and regularly updates us on patient views and ideas. They work tirelessly to raise funds through various events including coffee mornings at Abbey Surgery.
The money raised is used to purchase the latest medical equipment to further improve patient care.
Electric treatment beds and electronic blood pressure monitors in the nurse treatment rooms are just some of the examples of what has been purchased to date. Added to this we have recently purchased special seats in the waiting room to assist the elderly or infirm, using monies raised by The Friends of Abbey Surgery.
When visiting Abbey Surgery you can read all about The Friends of Abbey Surgery activities on their dedicated notice board. Additionally, should you wish to write to The Friends, just pass your envelope to Reception, clearly marked as “The Friends of Abbey Surgery”. We will ensure that your envelope is passed to their post box.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank The Friends of Abbey Surgery for their continued support and hard work, which is very much appreciated.
