REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS
Please note that our old system for ordering repeat prescriptions is only available until 30/09/12. If you are currently using the old system, please ask our staff to register you for the new improved service (called Patient Access).
Abbey Surgery is a long established General Medical Practice serving Tavistock and the surrounding area. We have a car park at the rear for the use of patients and a dedicated disabled parking bay, flat level access and wide entry doors for disabled access.
New Reception and Dispensary Opening Times for 2012:
Mon - Fri 8.30am - 6.30pm (Telephones 8.30am - 6.30pm)
Sat 8.30am - 11.30am (By prior appointment - no telephone service)
Doctor and Nurse pre-bookable appointments on above Saturday Surgeries
We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holiday weekends.
Out of hours - If you need to speak to a Doctor after the surgery has closed, please call Devon Doctors on 0845 6710 270 . You can also obtain medical information and guidance from the nurse-led service, NHS Direct, on 0845 4647. For help in an emergency after the surgery is closed, ring 999.

Online Service for Booking Appointments, Repeat Prescription Ordering and Updating Your Details As part of our commitment to increasing patient access to our services we have established a 24 hour online service called "Patient Access" through both our websites to enable you to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions and update your details. Before you can use this service, you need to register. Once you have registered, you will be able to logon and create your own account. You will then be able to access the Patient Access Online Services to book, cancel or check appointments, order prescriptions and update your details whatever time of day. | |
